Sweet Shop 1

I first started with this image I toke in Blackpool in a traditional Sweet Shop.

I then toke the image into photo shop and selected image, adjustments, black and white.

Then i decided to use Martin Parr as my influence as he like to concentrate on colour this is obvious on his photos such as this on from the book 'Common Sense'.

Although i decided to add my own take to it as i have discovered many street photographers shoot in black and white as mentioned previously i decided that to make the image black and white then make the colour of the sweets show the colours would stand out and would be distracted by the colour of containers.

I used the history brush tool to add the colour back into the image. I believe this experiment went well and will use this technique more to further develop my images visually.
